2025 was a solid year for shooting concerts. All shot with a z6iii and with a 35, 85 1.8S, or sigma 24-70

Happy “update your camera’s copyright year” day, 2026 edition!
And ignore those silly pros who suggest the EXIF data is sufficient to establish the year. Bah!

Second camera to a Z8, ZF or Z6 III?
Happy new year!
Around 3 years ago, I switched from Fuji to Sony and within the year to a Nikon Z8 —bad experience with Sony's customer support.
Fast forward to now, I have no regrets as the Z8 is a much better camera than I need except for one thing: it is huge! Maybe it is because I grew old(er) or my priorities changed (I used to carry a D700), but I realized that I take less shots as I don't take rhe Z8 unless I can have a large camera bag with me. Last year, I had access to a ZFc from my previous work. That camera was accompanying me everywhere. I miss that camera already.
So, it is time for a second body. While I have been considering saving up for a Leica, I can't really justify a new system —let alone Leica's prices. The idea is to use this camera for street, family, and maybe a bit of astro if I get a camera with better low-light performance.
Staying within the Nikon system, I have been considering the ZF, Z5 II, or even the Z6 III. I can find all of them within 50-100 euros difference from each other.
I like the ZF because it kinda reminds me my Nikon F3 (and, subsequentl, my FujifilmX-system), which I learn photography on back in the mid-late 90s. The drawback seems to be the EVF for me. The Z6 III is the most capable camera and with the best EVF, but I am not sure if a mini-Z8 makes that much sense. The other option is the Z5 II, which is a bit cheaper and maybe sits somewhere between the ZF and Z6 III.
What do you think? ZF users, how do you find the EVF?
