An important PSA:
We have started receiving reports of Google banning accounts due to the 'Unlimited Photos Spoofing'. We cannot confirm 100% when or if this will happen, but consider yourself notified that it's possible. If this is a major concern for you, the only solution is to uninstall Google Photos app until we have confirmation or a fix.

It appears that accounts get restored once the device starts reporting with the correct signature again. But again we don't know for sure at this time. Be warned.
