Someone suggested giving stickers to family and friends inside Christmas cards, so that they can affix it wherever they like. I gives them an easy opportunity to cross the line from collusion to courage.

Here is an idea. Affix a post stamp-size “subversive” sticker next to official post stamps on every letter and parcel you send to government departments, businesses, people etc.

The University has advised students and staff about a roadmap to support reopening of our campuses, which sets an aspiration that everyone attending La Trobe campuses who is eligible and able to be vaccinated is fully vaccinated. The University is not mandating vaccination and it is ultimately up to individuals whether they elect to get vaccinated.

Our approach aims to support a return to campus-based activity as safely as possible for students, staff and visitors. It is consistent with our response to COVID-19 over the past two years: all of the advice we have given to students and staff during the pandemic, and the arrangements we have put in place for work, study and research, has been in accordance with our policy to always follow public health advice and observe measures such as lockdown restrictions and limits on the number of people attending campus that have been set by Government health officials.

Dear Prof. Dewar,

Thank you for your prompt response.

You write that “The University is not mandating vaccination and it is ultimately up to individuals whether they elect to get vaccinated.”

The University website nevertheless shows the following statement:

“As we announced in September, from 1 December 2021, everyone attending campus is required to be fully vaccinated (or hold a valid medical exemption).” (Source page: https://www.latrobe.edu.au/about/novel-coronavirus/vaccination)

The above statements appear to contradict one another. How should I understand this?

The following incident is symptomatic of the psychological abuse and demoralisation being implemented across the entire education system. This kind of demoralisation is especially obvious in “cross curriculum priorities” of the Australian curriculum: idolisation of animistic tribal cultures and devaluation of Western culture, cultural relativism, social justice and identity politics (universal guilt and alienation), environmental justice (universal guilt and the hatred of humanity, including self-hate), prioritising feelings/emotions above reason (normalisation of psychosis). All under the guise of the good.

I was visiting a friend a few weeks back and she began telling me a story about her daughter’s experience at school. She said that the school was incorporating a new program to help children with mental health since the Covid-19 mandates and restrictions had created so much depression in children. Her daughter’s teacher, who is neither a counselor or psychologist, was explaining to the children that no one will love them unless they love themselves, and that no one will believe in them unless they believe in themselves. Most people would hear that and say, “that’s so true, we must love ourselves,” but they missed the other part of the message. Her daughter didn’t miss it though. She raised her hand and told the teacher that she disagrees on both counts. She stated that even if she doesn’t love herself she knows that her mom always loves her and that makes her feel better. The teacher said, “and that makes you love yourself.” Her daughter replied, “no it doesn’t. It just makes me feel better. It’s the same thing with believing in myself. I don’t always believe in myself and I get nervous when I have to go on stage, but I look to mom and she tells me she believes in me, and it makes me feel better. It doesn’t make me believe in myself.” Smart girl.

Between the time she had left the classroom and got home, she realized that this was a really awful thing for a teacher to be teaching children, that no one will love them if they don’t love themselves. In a time of children being depressed and suicidal rates on the rise, and these teachings are supposedly being done to help children, she thought… what about those who may be suicidal? Imagine receiving this message and being told no one loves you or no one believes in you? It’s all mind trickery.

The University has published a Health and Safety Procedure that is publicly available here [https://policies.latrobe.edu.au/document/view.php?id=387&cid=edm%3Aacs%3Anan%3Acur%3Anan%3Acur%3Anan%3Anan%3Anan%3Anan%3Anan%3Anan%3Anan%3Anan&deliveryName=DM24312]. The Procedure notes that the University is obligated under the Occupational Health and Safety Act to identify whether there is a risk to the health of those attending our campus from exposure to COVID-19. Where a risk is identified, the University must either eliminate or reduce the risk so far as reasonably practicable.

The Procedure outlines our position on these matters and there is no need for you to write again.

Dear Prof. Dewar,

You written that La Trobe University “is not mandating vaccination”, and yet the link you provide explicitly makes Covid vaccination mandatory:

Part A - Requirement to be Vaccinated
(10) As of 1 December 2021, it will be a requirement that:

any La Trobe University staff member, student, honorary appointee, contractor, tenant or volunteer attending a Designated La Trobe University Campus Zone or Designated Event, must be Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they have been granted an Exemption by the University in accordance with this Procedure.
any person attending a Designated La Trobe University Campus Zone or Designated Event who is eligible under the Australian Government COVID-19 vaccination program to receive a COVID-19 vaccination, must be Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they have been granted an Exemption by the University in accordance with this Procedure.

This is a contradiction; the two above statements cannot be simultaneously true.

Can you please state which of the above two statements is true?

I want to stress that if the vaccination mandate is in force, it violates the right to life of some students and staff, because a small percentage of students and staff are expected to die as a result of this coercive treatment. Does La Trobe University hold a moral conviction that it is acceptable to violate the right to life of some people (kill a minority) for the benefit of the majority?

For the sake of health & safety of students and staff we both have the moral obligation to carefully work towards a logically consistent moral assessment of this controversial policy.

I grew up in a communist country, with the spectre of Nazism still in the living memory of the adults around me. Based on this experience I will never assume that the government has the best interest of the people at heart. Rather, the government is a necessary risk that we must continuously manage, and those who are attracted to it are inherently corrupt. At the same time, the quality of the government is in part a reflection of the quality of the moral character of a nation.

“recent observations from UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) surveillance data that N antibody levels appear to be lower in individuals who acquire infection following 2 doses of vaccination.” N antibodies signify the natural immune response to infection, as opposed to S antibodies that Covid vaccines aim to generate. The take away here is that Covid vaccination permanently weakens the natural immune response to the coronavirus, therefore regular boosters will be needed for life to maintain sufficient S antibodies to fight related infections. It is uncertain how this will affect the natural immune response to common cold and flu.

Table 11 indicates that Covid vaccination increases all cause mortality in the 0-18 age group following Covid-positive test.

Reminder: About one year ago my peer reviewed paper, published in a top medical journal, https://jme.bmj.com/content/early/2021/10/20/medethics-2020-107026 was censored and deleted by ResearchGate, the most popular academic research repository. The reason, my paper was deemed in violation of RG community safety policies or terms and conditions. This is how peer-reviewed research is censored. RG is a morally corrupt, ideologically partisan platform, and I have removed all my papers from there in protest.

The main problem with Equality of Outcome (Equity): If all genders, races and cultures are equally competent then they do not need any special assistance, and all differences of outcome are then reducible to identity-based preferences. And if they do need special assistance then they are not equally competent. In short, the politics of Equity invalidates itself by implicitly affirming the differences it overtly denies.

Opinions do not matter; these are just expressions of our subjective states, which may be objectively right or wrong. Ideology does not mater, because it is a commitment to the truth-value of beliefs, which may be objectively right or wrong. The only thing that matters is our capacity and willingness to adhere to universal, objective rules of reason, the immutable laws of logical ‘sense’, without which no meaning or thought could exist, no individuality, no reality, and which are the only common basis that humans possess to resolve our disagreements. Apart from personal preferences, insofar as these do not infringe on the preferences of others, we must not ‘agree to disagree’; we must agree to deliberate on the basis of common laws, with the aim of coming to agreement. Every other good follows from this one commitment.

Most people believe that the function of Democracy is to make morally right decisions that, in the long run, benefit all people. I suggest that the primary function of Democracy, perhaps the only function, is to allow the weaker ideological factions to submit with some dignity to the rulling faction, under the guise of “representation”, in exchange for guaranteed minimum rights, and thus save themselves from being slaughtered or outright enslaved in case of disagreement. Democracy simultaneously formalises and reveals the ACTUAL state of power, it does not add to power, it does not endow power, it does not delegate power. Nevertheless, revelations of power accomplished via the democratic process augment our awareness of the loci of power and can hypothetically shift its distribution.

Anyone who endorsed vaccine coercion or put a mask on a child is morally depraved. Anyone who submitted to vaccine mandates out of financial desperation, anyone who wore a mask to avoid confrontation, is still liable for taking away the right to free medical consent from their own children and future generations, and this moral debt will have to be repaid.

This is one of the first clear proofs of vaccine deaths among the young in Europe. This is on top of lockdown deaths.
