Niantic has released some additional FAQs on the Kureze Effect event. It seems our guesses on what counts for participation based on previous testing may not be accurate.

It's unclear if Niantic is parodying itself or not, but details on the next Ingress event have been revealed. It's called Comic Sans and agents can earn a badge for creating links between March 31 and April 7.

Now that I'm back, I decided a calculator would be more helpful than an infographic for this one. Put in your current event points and it will tell you how much of each action you'd need to do to finish up. You have 5 days left to earn the badge.

Superposition starts this weekend. Just like the last two anomalies (Kureze Effect and Kythera), agents earn the badge by interacting with 10 battle beacons during the event. If you're still unclear on what counts as an interaction, this infographic may help.

As my Twitter followers know, Thia’s friend Toasty is now in my custody. From now through Level 8 day or so, Toasty will be appearing at various landmarks. Correctly identify all the landmarks and submit your responses on a google form at the end of Toasty’s journey and have a chance to win one of those VR loadout codes.

Niantic has announced details for the upcoming Peace Week event September 15-26. Earn a badge for making links, see new peace-themed glyph sequences, and get a new peace beacon in the store (first one free). Also reduced drone cooldown, reduced kinetic distance for VRHS, and links up to 8km can be created under fields.
