Yesterday, Huntsville City Schools (HCS) put out this message to parents, warning them about the upcoming flu season. Funny though, not one mention of mask usage to slow the spread of the flu. So masks work for covid, but not for the flu.....OK. These people think we are dumb.

"Huntsville City Schools (HCS) is asking families and staff members for their support in mitigating the spread of illnesses.

With the cold, flu, and RSV spreading across Alabama, the district is reminding stakeholders of good habits related to health and hygiene:
Wash hands frequently
Avoid touching face
Stay home when experiencing flu and flu-like symptoms
HCS urges students, families, and staff members to monitor themselves and their families for symptoms and to stay home until symptom-free for at least 24 hours without medication. Symptoms include the following:
Fever or chills
Cough
Sore throat
Runny or stuffy nose
Muscle or body aches
Headaches
Fatigue/tiredness
Vomiting and diarrhea
HCS encourages stakeholders to contact their doctor or urgent care for guidance if they experience any symptoms.

So either they are: 1. Admitting masks do not work, 2. Think there is a difference between covid transmission and influenza, or 3. Admitting that their mask mandate was nothing but a sham and they are incapable of critical thought and were merely just puppetting what the CDC said when they MANDATED it for our kids.
