I lost track of how many times as a young Lieutenant we were told by General and Senior Officers about “moral courage” or how “standing up for your Marines” is the ethos of the Officer corps. Or that the reason why “moral courage” exists in peacetime fitness reports is so that officers can stand tall against the masses in order to look out for your Marines. Yeah, these guys all folded like a bunch of lawn chairs…whether that be Afghanistan, useless and dangerous covid vaccinations, or other stupid things that have crushed our military.
