The researchers recorded heart contractions in a supplementary video, comparing normal contractions in an unvaccinated rat heart cell (1A) with vaccinated cells.

Pfizer-vaccinated cells displayed stronger, sustained contractions (1B) due to increased protein kinase A (PKA) activity.

The authors concluded that at the cellular level, the effects of the COVID-19 vaccines seemed to align closer with cardiomyopathy than with myocarditis. Cardiomyopathy is a condition where heart muscles become both structurally and functionally abnormal in the absence of other heart diseases. Queen Rania of Jordan has accused Western leaders of a “glaring double standard” for failing to condemn the deaths of Palestinian civilians under Israeli bombardment in Gaza, as Israel’s war on Hamas threatens to destabilize relations between US and Arab leaders.

Speaking to CNN’s Christiane Amanpour in an exclusive interview, Rania said, “The people all around the Middle East, including in Jordan, we are just shocked and disappointed by the world’s reaction to this catastrophe that is unfolding. In the last couple of weeks, we have seen a glaring double standard in the world.”

“When October 7 happened, the world immediately and unequivocally stood by Israel and its right to defend itself and condemned the attack that happened … but what we’re seeing in the last couple of weeks, we’re seeing silence in the world,” she told CNN.

“This is the first time in modern history that there is such human suffering and the world is not even calling for a ceasefire,” Queen Rania added. “So the silence is deafening – and to many in our region, it makes the Western world complicit.”

“Are we being told that it is wrong to kill a family, an entire family, at gunpoint, but it’s OK to shell them to death? I mean, there is a glaring double standard here,” she said. “It is just shocking to the Arab world.”

“It is the second study to find an elevated risk of stroke for seniors after Covid-19 and flu vaccinations given together.

In additional analysis of the Medicare claims data, the FDA researchers found a very slightly increased risk of stroke in adults ages 65 and older who’d only gotten a high dose flu shot. 

Researchers say they are continuing to probe the possible link, but in the meantime, they say everyone should still get vaccinated…Schaffner said people who are worried could consider getting each shot at different times rather than together.
