Never thought I'd see the day where the federal government actively fights a state all the way up to the Supreme Court to expedite the illegal invasion of America—and WINS.
I'm angry, but I'm also just sad for what this means for our future. The America you pass down to your kids will not resemble the America you grew up in. It will be markedly worse. It will be more crowded, more impoverished, more expensive, and less trusting but with more crime, more filth, and less in common. It means we have a whole political party that despises our shared history and the people already here.
We've known this, but each new betrayal makes this future all the more inevitable and real.
Pray for America. She needs it.

Okay, so if there’s a hurricane and the federal government doesn’t show up, can a state save its people?
If Putin attacked Alaska with 50,000 troops and the US military refused to act, can a state protect its people? Or would Alaska be constitutionally bound to just let it happen?
What SCOTUS decided yesterday was that absurd. If the federal government is derelict in its basic constitutional functions, the agreement between the states dissolves. Joe Biden has forced a constitutional crisis.

IMO, NATO needs to be dissolved. Because NATO was founded to thwart the USSR, with the dissolving of the USSR many years ago now, NATO needs to follow suit. However, the big war machine refuses to just let it go. Terrible.
