They have mentioned it before in bulletins and on their website, but didn't change your forecasted amounts until recently. Last month, my forecasted Social Security amount at 62 was $3493. Today it is now $2517. 1. What a sham "socialist security" is and 2. how terrible that the US government is allowed to raid it. In a truly free country, one would be able to opt out of it.
