Blockchain-based reporting protocols as a collective monitoring mechanism in DAOs

As a recent decentralized business model, Distributed Autonomous Organization (DAO) challenges the management paradigms of conventional organizations and represents the future of democracy-based systems. However, DAOs are facing challenges that can be divided into two categories, including policy-based and technical challenges. Detecting misbehaving nodes is a crucial challenge that is considered in both categories. Designing mechanisms to report malicious behaviors while maintaining anonymity is essential for the survival and efficiency of DAOs. In this paper, we clarify the problem, and introduce Blockchain-Based Anonymous Reporting (BBAR) as a collective monitoring mechanism in DAOs with its requirements and implementation methods.

METAVERSE VS MULTIVERSE: DIFFERENCES

Decentralized metaverses incorporate blockchain technology and asset ownership through NFTs. The incorporation of blockchain, smart contracts, NFTs, and cryptography gives value to assets, interactions, and experiences in the digital world. In the multiverse, users can interact with each other, using artificial intelligence, VR, or AR, but not develop more than one activity at a time or move their assets from one virtual world to another.

The main differences between one and the other are:

1) The ideal of the metaverse is one in which there is a single virtual world composed of different ecosystems, on the contrary, the multiverse is composed of multiple virtual worlds.

2) Users of the metaverse own the assets through blockchain technology and the use of NFTs, in the multiverse users cannot own the assets of one virtual world in another.

3) The metaverse, there are different components such as AI, robots, digital avatars, NFTs, etc. that are typical of it, on the other hand, in the multiverse, there are different components depending on the digital world in question.
