Wind turbines require 260 tons of steel to build, and require approximately 200 gallons of oil that must be replaced annually. Over the course of their expected life cycle, they are incapable of even producing the quantity of energy it took to build them. Oh, and the blades are not recyclable and require special handling for disposal. Does that seem like an earth-friendly rational energy policy to you? 🤔🤨
