To correct the protest organizers today. The first time the Benjamin Franklin Bridge was shut down was May 8th 1970 when a group of Temple students protested the Vietnam War. It was shut down in 2020 during the George Floyd Protests. It was shut down in 2022. It was shut down December 2023 for a different protest calling for a ceasefire. Please do not lie to the people. The march today was cool though.
