March & Rally for Walter Wallace Jr.

Malcolm X Park (52nd & Pine)
Saturday, October 26 12:00pm-3:00pm

from Amistad Movement Power:

Join us this Saturday for a Rally and March on the Anniversary of Walter Wallace Jrs death.

This Saturday October 26th 2024 will be four years since Walter Wallace JR was murdered by Philadelphia Police outside of his home during a mental health crisis. He deserved better and it’s important that we fight for Mobile Crisis Team expansion and community safety alternatives.

Meet us at Malcolm X park at 12pm this Saturday to rally and March. We will be taking to the streets and marching by the police district that dispatched on that day, October 26th 2020.

We will then have an open Community Forum from 1:30-3pm at Holy Apostles and the Mediator Church 260 S 51st Street (side entrance) to gather and talk about safety and what our communities deserve.
