Police keep putting out the "citizens have the right to protest" line on scanner. Our camp is a peaceful protest to the conditions that create homelessness. We do not believe the government have the right to forcefully remove street citizens from a park for peacefully voicing their frustration at a system that creates poverty and limits their power.

We are getting word of right wing fashy types congratulating themselves on following this public channel.
Good job. You found a public channel on a public forum. It's like hacking a Facebook page.

Which brings me to my other point. If you are in a group chat on this platform, no matter how vetted it is, if you do not personally know everyone in that chat IN REAL LIFE do not talk about plans. Even if you know them, plan in person. You can aggregate public information, you can talk about a response to a thing that happened but don't plan. It's not a planning tool. Keep your private information private so you can fight another day. There are more of us than there are of them.

Beautiful day, comrades. Remember @GrittyBot allows you to message in Intel directly to the Philly admins. Stay hydrated, cover your tattoos and share this channel. Love to you all.

Folks on the ground, its time we normalize live streams again and teach live stream etiquette. We don't support live streaming protesters. We do support live streaming the police and their violence during events. We need folks to stream on twitch because when police shut off scanners and use encrypted networks, it is our best intel source for our RUST teams. RUST or Remote Uprising Support Teams are your official eyes on the sky monitoring from remote locations to assist those on the ground or in the areas of protest. Live streams help confirm the information we hear and help us get a better understanding of what is happening. We may be turned off by live streams by their usage to doxx protesters to police. But live streams are also helping our intel teams and documenting what happens when police and militia go to far. What is even better is being a live streamer gives you some extra legal protection while participating at protests. Help us watch the cops.
Also, twitch streamers can help raise funds for their local communities protests or your affinity group when subscribers donate. You can support your local activist chapters and fund encampments and medic groups by raising funds as a twitch streamer. Being an ethical live streamer has a huge role!
Think of live streaming as your legal right to spy and collect intelligence on police in public spaces. As long as you are in public space you cant be arrested for documentation. The whole point of being on a Remote Uprising Support Team is to be a functional intelligence system for demonstrators. Being journalists gives us certain rights to limited ability of espionage on police and militias in public. While filming a militia may be dangerous, filming police is absolutely our legal right and can help legally protect those on the ground.
After gathering more evidence I decided to change my statement. I still say I am against the shooting of civilians. However what is not clear is whether this was self defense. Another video showed more clearly the mace being sprayed followed by shots both very rapidly and it's not clear whether the gun was pulled first or the mace was. If this was in self defense I view this to be more ethical. Macing someone shouldnt result in an execution and we should view every shooting critically and with sensitivity. People shouldn't have to die. But the reality is last night very well might not be the last of these. And just like there are Columbine copycats, I still fear that individuals will try to copy the acts of Kyle Rittenhouse. Part of being an ethical journalist is saying you were wrong about some information and you do your best to correct it. Regardless folks should not be deputized to kill as it only will escalate the situations further for us and put folk who arent trying to fight a battle into harms way. The last thing we should be doing is inspiring a warmongering right wing. We are striking against them. A strike should not escalate to a battle. But things only stay peaceful if our enemies have empathy and a conscious. Right now it doesn't appear that way. We should all take time to continue and reflect on this as more information still waits to come out.
