OCEAN Token Swap

For the majority of Ocean token holders, no action is required before the token swap. After the token swap, OCEAN holders with their tokens in a wallet will need to update the token contract address.

Official Ocean wallets include Atomic, Coinbase Wallet (excluding Coinbase Exchange), Coolwallet, Coinomi, Exodus, Ledger, MyCrypto, Metamask, MEW, Trezor, Trust. If you're not sure if your wallet is included, please email info@oceanprotocol.com

No action is required, if you store your tokens on an exchange such as Bittrex Global, KuCoin, Gate.io, VCC or any other crypto-exchange. You can leave your tokens in the exchange.

If you have injected OCEAN into a decentralized liquidity pool such as Uniswap or Balancer, you must withdraw your tokens before the token swap by August 21, 2020. Once the token swap is complete, you may re-inject it into the liquidity pool.

If you have OCEAN in the Ocean Pacific Network, please withdraw your tokens by August 21.

Binance will list Ocean Protocol (OCEAN) and open trading for OCEAN/BTC, OCEAN/BNB and OCEAN/BUSD trading pairs at 2020/08/17 8:00 AM (UTC). Trading for OCEAN/USDT will open at 2020/08/19 8:00 AM (UTC). Users can now start depositing OCEAN in preparation for trading.

Datatokens is now in private beta. We've tasked teams and security auditors from 6 countries to test and hack on our v3 milestone, to measure its durability, sustainability, and efficiency. The code will be open-sourced in the following weeks.

"The Ocean Test Friends Program allows teams to build and demo use cases around datatokens, which will ultimately fuel the creativity of our broader community and produce innovative apps," Manan Patel Ocean Protocol Product Manager.

Tokens worth $300,000 were left stranded in Uniswap Protocol and Balancer Labs.

We decided to airdrop $OCEAN holders the full amount back to their ETH wallet address, as an act of goodwill for contributing liquidity for the Ocean token.

The airdrop is now completed.
