I’d always heard about NOT leaving leftover food in a can. This says its ok. https://www.highspeedtraining.co.uk/hub/open-metal-cans-in-fridge/ This came to mind when wife and I were discussing #10 cans of stuff we’ve bought.

Hey guys this is not meant as a blackpill. It is meant to draw your attention to the struggle. If we don't come together as a people this will come to America as well. We need to be on our knees praying for our people all over the world in particularly in South Africa and America. Guys yall need to get in a good relationship with Jesus learn to lean on him. Pray for him to prepare your spirit for the rough times ahead. You also need to be praying for him to help you develop the skills that will serve you in the times ahead. Stay vigilant my brothers and sisters
Since we try to cover a broad array of topics here... how are you on shoes? Boots. Boot laces? Socks? Wet weather shoes? Seems about 10 years ago all the sneakers you can buy switched to some sort of urethane foam soles and they simply do not last.
Next “food for thought” subject.... how are you on hand tools? How’s the handle on your shovel? Rakes hoes? Pickaxe?
Pretty excited I got to see a cicada killer wasp with a cicada in its clutches. It was swarming the truck, I think it likes the red color

I've been finding hornworms on my tomatoes every day. Three today and this is the biggest one so far
If you're in to camping/ bush gear, check out this youtube channel. In my opinion everyone should have the skills to build an emergency shelter using only the materials you have around you. That being said, I agree with his conclusion. A roll of plastic sheeting and a lightweight tarp would be far more versatile. Interesting to see products companies are putting on the market

A few weeks ago i ran the house for the day from my lithium batteries. But I had an external solar charger hooked up that was maintaining my batteries. My SMA inverters didn’t know about this and despite my batteries being 90% full, the inverters thought the battery was down around 15% and subsequently shut themselves down to protect the batteries from over discharge.
The solution for this is to add a current sensing shunt so that when additional energy is put into the batteries that does not originate from the inverters, they become aware of that energy.
So I have installed two bars bars on the negative side that are connected together with a 50 mV/500 amp shunt. The batteries go on one bus bar, and the inverters and all sources of power go on the other negative bus bar. If you look carefully at this picture you will see two copper colored bolts on the top and bottom right hand bus bars. The shunt is behind that.
