The central image of The Blind Owl is the vision that our narrator sees through the ventilation hole at the top of his closet, the likeness of which he seems to unconsciously paint on all of the pencase covers that he decorates:

“On the open ground outside my room I saw a bent old man sitting at the foot of a cypress tree with a young girl — no, an angel from heaven — standing before him. She was leaning forward and with her right hand was offering him a blue flower of morning glory. The old man was biting the nail of the index finger of his left hand.”

The most important element of this iconic scene is the feminine“angel,” whom the narrator goes on to meet in person in the present time frame and who, as we shall see, bears so many resemblances to both his wife and his mother from his past lifetime in Rey, that she must in some sense be one and the same figure as them.

This “angel,” glimpsed only for a moment, is unforgettable to the narrator because she is “so intimately bound up with” his “own existence,” and yet at the same time he beholds “all the wretchedness of” his “existence” in “the glory and splendor of the star.”

[...]

Our narrator repeatedly tells us that he knows the angel’s name and that he has long known it — but he will not mention it for fear of defiling her; it is too sacred to utter amidst this world of lies.
Her name is Daenâ.

You can try to send as many bombs as you like, even if they're nuclear. But you won't defeat us, because WE ARE THE FIRE. We are the prophetesses and prophets of The Flame, and in the end, YOU are parasites crawling on the edge of a steak knife. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFNW3heSkq8

If you listen to this carefully, line by line, you can HEAR the PsyOp… Read my CLOSER ENCOUNTERS if you want a broader and deeper perspective than what this Military-Intelligence operative is telling you while he postures as a ‘disclosure’ hero, and while he maneuvers to secure legal amnesty for a Syndicate who took over the USG in 1947, murdered JFK in 1963, and blew up the Twin Towers in 2001. https://x.com/UAPJames/status/1826031598913073473

UFOs and the various trickster-type phenomena involved in Close Encounters are like “Trojan Horses” of this Cosmic Joker — deceptive “paraphysical objects” that disguise the Thing’s true nature so that it can manipulate us for purposes ultimately known only to itself.

For us to let it in, this Thing once had to assume the form of “angels”; now “aliens” have more authority. It is only the limits of the human mind, with its dualistic framing of things, that wants to see “demons” — or “bad aliens” — as a class of beings set against “angels” or putatively benevolent “Space Brothers.”

Like Artemis, Hecate was a lunar goddess. Hecate also shared with Artemis an association with wolves, being called the “She-wolf” on certain protective charms. Other charms even referred to her as “chief huntress,” clearly a noscript of Artemis. Hecate also shares with Artemis, the role of nurse goddess who presides over childbirth.

On account of all of these affinities, images of Artemis and Hecate are often indistinguishable. In addition to both being the goddess of crossroads, they were both also known as the watcher over harbors. In this connection, I suspect that the Statue of Liberty in New York harbor is actually Artemis-Hecate. As with Artemis, the priestesses of Hecate were torch bearing.
