Also many others are facing this issue too.

When your $1000 OnePlus has "property of being green" at lower brightness.

Read the comment below tells the reality of the low quality displays used and how it should have been combated before hand for the green tint.
Also there are myriads of reports, that's is everyone who received their OP8 and the OP8 pro has faced the green tint issue.
It's a sad thing that this happens in a $1000 phone and the company didn't even bother checking it before hand and even after they didn't they are now pushing the customers away by saying "it's a property of the panel".
There are many more posts about the display issues but you lads/lasses get the point, no point of posting all of them.

As usual avoid buying one plus phones as of now and by golly if by any chance you want too, just wait for future statements about the current users of OP8/OP8 pro.

The mi note 10 pro is a significantly cheaper phone with a better screen than the $900 OnePlus with a JNCD of 0.4

"In regard to choosing the pre-installed apps specifically, we are quite discreet and the basic needs of users are our most important consideration. Things like browsing web, file management, daily tools are considered by us as indispensable in daily use scenarios. Besides essential features and Google apps, we also want to provide a better experience on certain apps for users. These apps are introduced by OnePlus team after several round of review based on the popularity and usage among our users, such as Netflix - for enhancing HDR playback - and Facebook - for higher battery efficiency."

OnePlus say they're pre-installing bloatware for higher battery efficiency, I'm sure money had nothing to do with it.
The Ideas section on a whole has some utterly moronic reasoning from the OnePlus representative. https://forums.oneplus.com/forums/ideas/
Facebook services reappear after a factory reset and can only be disabled on the OnePlus 8 Pro

Seems like you can't get a bloat free experience despite paying $900/€919/£799/₹54999.
Verizon version of the OnePlus 8 gets the typical Verizon experience where they make sure you're constantly reminded you're on Verizon. Remember when OnePlus said claimed they'd put the user first? Looks like the deal with Verizon, Facebook, Netflix and Epic Games made them give that up.
