Now that there is clarity on Ukraine's Digital Asset laws, Smartlands is in a position to close numerous outstanding deals that our Kyiv team has been working on for the past few months.

To speed things along, Smartlands CEO Ilia Obraztcov has been in Kyiv since 16th September and will remain there until at least the coming weekend, taking part in back-to-back meetings with asset owners, investors, regional development authorities, and potential business partners, to name a few.

Numerous deals have already been agreed and legal paperwork supporting these new opportunities is currently being prepared for signature by all parties.

As soon as each new deal is signed, sealed and delivered, we will inform you all of the finer details in each case. So, prepare yourselves for a tsunami of positive news over the remainder of September and into the first half of October.

❗️Sulfur Dioxide Cloud from Spain’s Canary Islands Volcano Eruption to Sweep Over France — Lava Destroys Home as Residents FLEE!

France and areas of the Med are going to feel the effects of an eruption from the Canary Islands this weekend as clouds filled with sulfur dioxide rise into Europe, making rain slightly more acidic according to a graphic shared by Keraunos the French observatory for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms

Sulfur dioxide can affect the environment and human health alike, causing irritation to the lungs and eyes. The Canary Islands Volcanology Institute has said the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano which generated that sulfur dioxide could last “between 24 to 84 days”.

Meanwhile the blast forced 6,000 residents on the island of La Palma to leave their homes. Copernicus Emergency Management Service said Thursday adding 350 buildings were destroyed, with lava flow covering over 166 hectares.

Florida Court Temporarily Blocks Vaccine Mandate

A Florida court has granted a temporary injunction preventing the city of Gainesville, Florida, from forcing employees to comply with a vaccine mandate.

The court said that the city of Gainesville “did not put on any evidence, at all, at the injunction hearing” that would allow the court to consider whether the vaccine mandate “meets a strict scrutiny test, a rational basis test, or whether it meets any other standard.”
