135 subreddits have “gone dark” by switching to private to protest Reddit’s refusal to ban disinformation regarding coronavirus and vaccinations.

Reddit defended its policies, “Reddit is a place for open and authentic discussion and debate. This includes conversations that question or disagree with popular consensus,” a spokesperson told Business Insider.

“What is a man to do with $18 million, a lot of enemies and a desire for revenge? This is not a guy who forgets. The only question is when he tries to get even, and whether it’s upfront or behind the scenes.”
