Costco Limits Purchases Amid Shoppers 'Stockpiling'

The retailer announced on its website that “temporary item limits,” were to be brought in due to evidence some Americans were stockpiling products due to the Covid-19 delta variant.

Shopper limitations were common to stop people panic buying and depleting vital everyday supplies last year - like water and toilet paper.

LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva: On 04/16/21, a homeless, 32 year old Hispanic male threatened a LASD Deputy with a knife as he patrolled encampments on a beach. The suspect was subsequently arrested.
