South Africa's "John Wick" Trends as 'Vigilante' Guns Down Boko Haram

Social media has gone wild with theories over the so-called Mamelodi John Wick, after another Boko Haram leader was gunned down in a hail of bullets.

Several high-ranking members of the group - which has reigned with terror in the region near SA's capital, have been killed in recent weeks.

Police are investigating the murders, as locals celebrate Boko Haram being targeted by the South African John Wick who's shot to the top of social media trends. However, there are fears "Wick" might be from a rival gang.
