Most times, corporations rely on 'implied consent', with the CDR currently operating as an opt-in service, assuming that when you are notified via letter or email, you have 30 days to opt out or your consent is implied. This is similar to the My Health Record.
Please ensure you go into your notifications setting in your online banking platform and read all e-notifications as they will often send alerts there where Noone really reads and acts on them.
