🚨 Statement on Calvert County Public Schools vaccinating six year old without parental consent:
I am appalled that the wishes of parents in Maryland are being ignored even when reported by the child to the school official. This week, as part of Hogan-Kelly supported efforts to vaccinate all children a six year old was wrongly vaccinated without parental consent even though it is reported that the child told the school their parent did not consent. Such disregard of the bodily integrity of children and parental rights is disgusting and illegal and no excuse or “mistake” in this instance appears to apply. You either have written permission or you don’t. They clearly did not and even worse were told no parental consent existed by the child.
I call on Hogan and Kelly Schulz to demand an end to this dangerous program in our schools immediately. Medical care should be carefully safeguarded in the privacy of ones doctors office and not via separation from parents in academic schools.
“When the child without parental consent was taken in by the nurse, they told the nurse that their parent had not given consent. Parents were supposed to send advance notice of their consent to the school.”
