North Korea Set to Hold MIDNIGHT Military Parade?! (Report)

Key-routes inside Pyongyang are reportedly closed and heavily secured by military/police officials – with citizens observed gathering near Kim II Sung Square. (NK News)

Multiple informed sources told NK News that the parade is likely to include a wide range of military assets and will kick-off after midnight.

A midnight parade is not new in North Korea with one being held on Oct. 10, 2020, although details were not released until local TV broadcast the event later that evening.

Attendees of a Chinese entertainment industry symposium have been told to act with morality in both public and private on Tuesday, amid an intensive govt crackdown on cultural sectors.

The Beijing meeting ran with the slogan: “Love the party, love the country, advocate morality and art” – warning showbiz stars they must “oppose the decadent ideas of money worship, hedonism and extreme individualism.”

China sees celebrity culture and the pursuit of wealth as a dangerous Western import which promotes individualism. Several high-profile celebrities have been targeted recently - movie star Zhao Wei had her name wiped from all works on major entertainment platforms, while actress Zheng Shuang fined $46mn for tax evasion last month.
