Two years after Operation Iron Swords, the Ministry of Defense published the death toll from the war:
-⭕ 1,152 IDF soldiers (1,086 men, and 66 women) have fallen since October 7, this includes 262 fallen members from the frontlines in the last year. 1,035 IDF soldiers—including 43 from emergency units—along with 100 Israeli police officers, nine soldiers from the General Security Service (Shin Bet), and eight soldiers from the Israel Prison Service.
42% (487) of them were under the age of 21, and 12% (141) were over the age of 41.
-⭕ More than 6,500 family members of the fallen have joined the list of families of the fallen IDF, including approximately 1,973 parents, 351 widows, 885 orphans, and 3,481 brothers and sisters. Most of the fallen IDF soldiers were young and single men in regular military service.

Notably a launch canister for the locally-made "A-120" long range rockets were discovered, Chinese made Type 56-1/2 AKs, Type-69 RPG launcher, with locally made "Tandem-85" anti tank projectile, North Korean "F-7" blast-frag anti personnel RPG warhead, Romanian PG-7VM anti tank projectile, a "Fedayeen" shaped charge, and also an ex-IDF M240 machine gun without the stock, and with the barrel removed, likely captured from an IDF vehicle.
