🇮🇱 While Israel is the regime's closest Military ally. Since 1984 after an attempted coup on him by the Republican guard which was trained by the Frenchies Biya has chosen Israel to be his regime's protector

🥸 Biya's most loyal units the Presidential Guard and Rapid Intervention Battalion(BIR) are both, founded, trained and equipped by Israel.

⚠️ With the BIR being known as "The Israeli Unit" due to using Israeli Rifles and Israeli vehicles. The unit is considered to be the country's most elite and has been involved in countless war crimes and crimes against humanity over it's existence.

🪖 The Presidential Guard, replaced the Republican Guard after its attempted coup, are also equipped and trained by Israel and are involved in a heap of crimes.

👀 Israel also helps train and maintain the rest of the army but to a lesser extent due to feared lack of loyalty in the rest of the military

🕵‍♂️ Israel has also helped the Biya regime with building up a surveillance apparatus in the country with Israeli intelligence agencies assisting their Cameroonian counterparts in other matters as well.

👀In a July meeting between EU’s foreign affairs chief Kaja Kallas and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, it was privately revealed that China’s strategic interest is keeping the west’s focus on Europe and away from Taiwan.

🤔In my opinion, China would prefer not to engage in a hot war for Taiwan. I don’t foresee a “Pearl Harbor” moment despite some of the satellite images depicting a buildup of resources suitable for a landing.

🔫The CCP has an extremely untested military, and it knows this as well as China’s history of being rather embarrassing from a martial perspective.

🧻It seems more like that the communists would prefer a “walk-on victory” in which they can blockade Taiwan without much resistance from a bled and apathetic west.

💸Taiwan is not suited for an unassisted siege lasting more than two weeks before capitulation is likely. But that analysis is for a separate discussion.
