🇺🇸🇱🇧 The United States has asked the Lebanese authorities to hand over an unexploded GBU-39 aerial bomb used by the Israeli Air Force during an "operation" in Beirut.
According to Lebanese media reports, the munition did not work and remained in the country.
American officials have expressed concern that modern weapons could fall into the hands of Russia or China.
Washington believes that the technologies embedded in the GBU-39 are of strategic value and should not be beyond the control of the allies.

In Buryatia, a 67-year-old man attacked a schoolgirl because he decided she was a “Ukrainian agent.”
He strangled the girl, shouted “such people should be killed” and dragged her off the road. Only passers-by stopped him.
The court ruled that this was attempted murder and sentenced him to 8.5 years in prison. The appeal upheld the sentence.
