Russia developed new T-90M/"T-80" turret. It was widened and relocated/enlarged ejection port increases internal volume but weakens side protection, also shrinking degrees from direct front where armour is effective.

All this because the current turret has loose tolerances and the welding was bad.

Rosstat is Russia’s official statistics agency and operates under strong political constraints and Kremlin influence, it is more likely to downplay economic weakness than exaggerate it.

The fact that such large declines are reported suggests the real contraction in private industries is likely significantly worse.

Spain ordered 4 Patriot batteries worth $1.7 billion.

⁉️💸
The amazingly low price is because the 51 PAC-3MSE interceptors weren't ordered. Those costed $1.1 billion.

➖️
The deal only included radars, launchers and support vehicles but no missiles.

There is a talk of Congress invoking letters of Marque from the constitution on Trump's behalf to fight "drugs".

🏴‍☠️🦜
It would legalise privateers:

1. To use force by private individuals on behalf of the government on specific groups.

💸
2. Private individuals to sieze enemy property on behalf of the government and recive cash price or portion of the seized goods.

Ingot for which needs to be the most uniform, from the highest grade of steel and weight more than 500t. Reactor Pressure Vessel that's made from it costs $350 to + $500 million. Lead time is 10 years and is expected to rise sharply in the 2030s.

Only these can make them:
🇯🇵 JSW (Japan)
🇬🇧 Forgemasters (UK)
🇷🇺 OMZ (Russia)
🇨🇳 Shanghai Electric (China)
🇨🇳 CFHO (China)
🇫🇷 Framatome (France)

🇺🇸🛠
Last time US was able to make them was in the 80s.

⁉️💡
It's unclear if US has the electricity available to regain this metalurgic capability and where it will take the electricity from to make Data centres.
