🥸 Here's some footage of PDF Zoland forces directly next to captured Junta men for comparison.

👀 The Zo rebels all have camo, plate carriers, helmets, proper boots while the troops of the official army of the country don't even have a uniform let alone combat equipment.

🤡 For years the Tatmadaw higher leadership spent the money they received on themselves, which led to many units of the pretty massive Tatmadaw to completely fall apart logistically: rusted rifles, failing ammunition, no uniforms.

✍️ Meanwhile for the rebels proper kit for their infantry is a must have, and while not nearly all of the rebel forces have it the % who do have is higher than that of the Military.

👀 The immense amount of sense vegetation makes establishing a visual context borderline impossible which is both a blessing and a curse since neither side can see the other for more than a glimpse

🇲🇲🇲🇲 - The Arakan Army has killed the Chief of the Junta's 10th Military Operations Command (MOC) in an ambush

👀 This is a big catch as there are only 20 MOC in total in all of Myanmar and a MOC is roughly equal to an Infantry Division over here in the West.

☄️ The chief and a small escort were caught while travelling near the borders between Rakhine and Bago states, in the following ambush he and a dozen of his men were killed
