After the Iowa Class, there was a successor planned, called the Montana class, during WWII. Slower, but more guns and armor. It never got laid down, and the whole WWII thing kinda ended. But still neat.

I haven't made people upset in a while, I have an intrusive thought I want to share. Deltoid armor is impractical, but my personal opinion is its 2nd cool AF.
