Today is atypically sobering. In the other channels there's probably some haha funni nein-eleben memes on timers set to go off, but I got some serious thoughts.

9/11/01 was the last time this country had a truly unifying moment we could all come together as Americans and remember who we are. In 24 years, Charlie Kirk's death analogously shows how bifurcated our culture has become, its soo incalculably sad, where cohabitation is just like, not going to be a thing anymore eventually.

I wanted to get that off my chest somewhere.

O God of eternal life,
we remember all who have died and entrust them into your care.
Grant them peace in your presence and surround them with the compassion of your love.
Comfort those who mourn their loved ones.
Strengthen them to face the questions of pain, the sorrow and anger, the irreparable loss.
