Many medical practitioners in Germany are still being sent to jail for perspectives opposing the official Covid narrative. One of these brave, outstanding individuals is Prof Sucharit Bakhdi, a true cosmopolitan since childhood and one of the rare scientists in our times who integrates art, science, and human values.

The attorney general's office is accusing Prof Bhakdi of inciting hatred, and he could face anywhere from months to five years in prison.

Everyone who has had the chance to communicate or work with Prof Bhakdi knows of his compassionate nature toward humanity and his deep knowledge of microbiology and medicine as a whole.

The dictionary defines a true hero as a person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose. As the saying goes: First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they attack you, then you win. Following this timeline, we are one step toward putting Prof Bhakdi on the stage he deserves to stand on as the hero he is.
