I wish to tell you something.

I was watching a young girl play with her boyfriend today. And as I watched I wondered if she knew what love is. What love should be. The ideal, true love, that should enrapture their purest souls. Then I thought about the state of the world today. Modern love... The definition of it, has shifted from what its truest meaning is. Modern love is physical attraction. It is lust. It is emotional. It is selfish.


So that raises the question... What is real Love then? When God said, "I am Love", what did He mean by that? God sacrificed his firstborn son for us. His best friend.

So let's write the definition of love based on God's example: Love is wanting the best thing possible for the other person, regardless of personal cost, sacrifice or pain.

Love, real love, is completely selfless and is focused only on helping the other person become the best possible version of themselves.

Disney has taught us, that love is a magical emotion that stays forever. Let me remind you it is not. Love is a conscious choice to choose someone else, over yourself, when you are sick, tired and grumpy, and are at your worst. Love would still rise up and prevail, when all odds were presented. It is faithful. Undying. And rlentless in its pursuit. Real love, never dies. And for my proof of that, I give you the most amazing story and example of Love: Christ dying for us.


Be careful throwing your words around. Know what you speak. And speak them to truth and power.

If you truly love someone, tell them. Don't waste and cheapen your words by throwing them around flippantly if you dont mean them.
