Do you remember when you were a kid how exciting it was when it rained? How it sounded against the windows and felt on your skin as you stuck your hand out between the porch railings? Do you remember running through the puddles watching the clear water get all muddy with puffs of silt? Do you remember the smell of the rain even though it hadn't started raining yet? Do you remember not caring if your socks were wet or of your shirt was muddy and sticking to your skin?


What happened between then and now that we try to stay dry and we refuse to dance in the rain because it will create a bit of mess and discomfort... 3-year-old us didnt care.... I say dance in the rain, enjoy the moment. Even though you will have to wash an extra set of clothes. Enjoy today. Its a gift. Tomorrow's not guaranteed.
