The arrow in the figure above indicates a discoid lateral meniscus, a relatively common congenital condition of the knee. Articular cartilage pathology with a discoid meniscus generally portends poorer outcomes than outcomes in those without
cartilage injury. Knowing the presence of articular cartilage injury preoperatively could be helpful in terms of patient counseling and expectations.
Ding and associates found that symptom duration correlated with the risk of articular cartilage involvement. More recently, Lau and associates assessed findings from the history and physical examination in patients with a discoid meniscus, ultimately finding through a stepwise discriminant functional analysis that duration of symptoms and extension block provided optimal sensitivity and specificity in predicting articular cartilage pathology.

These are 5 videos collectively to be 25 minutes of the exact rituals followed by Mr Ponseti himself explained by Dr. Ali Bakir who attended learning courses with Mr Ponseti in US.

These contained a very helpful tips to maintain a good behavior in practicing this method and keeping the child as far as we can away from the theatre room ..
