The Palestinian flag, with its vibrant colors of black, white, green, and red, serves as a symbol of the unified Arab resistance against imperialism. Like the blood of our Arab brethren coursing through our veins, the Palestinian flag pulses with the spirit of our unwavering commitment to fight until victory or martyrdom.
The flag is a beacon of hope that ignites the flame of resistance in the hearts of every Arab and every honorable individual who yearns for justice and liberation. "White are our acts, black our battles, green our fields, and red our swords." -Safi Al-Din Al-Hilli.
It is not merely a piece of cloth but a symbol of our shared history, culture, and identity as Arabs. It represents our unity, transcending borders and differences, binding us together as one formidable force. Our flag is source of inspiration for generations who have sacrificed their lives in pursuit of justice, dignity, and martyrdom for Palestine in the name of Allah.
The chosen garment of our martyrs, the Palestinian flag serves as a reminder that their legacy endures in the hearts and minds of those who continue to carry the banner of resistance.
In their honor, the Palestinian flag will continue to fly high, defiantly, despite all attempts at censorship and erasure from our lives. As it does, it will remain a beacon of hope that guides us in our relentless struggle against the Zionist enemy. International laws and conventions recognize children as a special category deserving protection and full rights. However, Palestinian children are not benefiting from colonial institutions such as the UN, which seeks to promote racist and imperialist agendas with inconsistent application of laws.
Palestinian children have been dehumanized to such an extent by the colonial Zionist entity that international law cannot be applied to them. In the eyes of global society, Palestinian children do not even meet the basic standard of being considered "human." They have been violently marginalized to a degree that seeking justice through the same international frameworks that have served to concretize their dehumanization becomes illogical.
Would this same treatment of innocent children be accepted in England, Germany, or Italy? Of course not. Moral panic, mass outrage, and global condemnation would ensue if any European child were to endure a fate similar to that of Ahmad Manasra. So, ask yourself why this is not the case for Palestinian children.
We cannot expect meaningful action from governmental bodies, NGOs, or charities whose selective humanity actively contributes to the #unchilding of colonized Palestinian children. We must help abolish the dehumanization of Palestinian children by amplifying the stories of child prisoners, educating others, and working towards their abolition.
