When the resistance fights, there are certain etiquettes, but the essence of the situation is defending the dignity, existence, and life of the remaining people.

The resistance in Gaza today is in a strong, cohesive, and steadfast position, rejecting submission and surrender. It was able to thwart the enemy's attempt to restore its deterrence power.

The resistance, in politics and the field, is steadfast because it refuses to stop the operation except under specific conditions.

Any assassination operation in the future will not pass, rather it will lead to a wide confrontation.

This result so far is due to the blessing of unity among the Palestinian factions, and we express our appreciation to them for their cooperation and wise management of this battle, and thanks to the Jihad and resilience of the fighters on the ground, along with the great popular embrace.

With all pride, honor, and dignity, the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades exalts the martyrdom of the commander and fighter, Iyad Al-Hassani "Abu Anas," a member of the Military Council and commander of operations in Saraya Al-Quds, who was responsible for coordinating between the Al-Qassam Brigades leadership and Saraya Al-Quds during the "Revenge of the Free" battle.

He ascended to martyrdom in a cowardly assassination operation on Friday evening, 22 Shawwal 1444 AH, corresponding to May 12, 2023. We ask the Almighty to accept him and grant him spacious gardens in Paradise. We pledge to him and all the martyrs of our people that their blood will not be in vain. Rather, it will be a beacon for the fighters and a fire for the occupiers.

It is a struggle of victory or martyrdom.

With all the meanings of steadfastness, resilience, patience, and devotion, the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine exalts to our people and our nation the martyrdom of our brother, the commander and fighter Iyad Al-Hassini "Abu Anas," one of the movement's leaders, the head of Central Operations in Saraya Al-Quds, and a member of its Military Council, who ascended to martyrdom after being targeted by a zionist airstrike while performing his duties of jihad in his management of the Revenge of the Free battle.

We also mourn the brother and fighter, Mohammad Walid Abdel-Aal, the comrade-in-arms of Commander "Abu Anas," who was martyred alongside him.

The brother and commander lived his life as a fighter, educator, and advocate for resistance, dedicating his time to resistance, as well as the Islamic and movement work, and served in various leadership and movement positions.
