The hearth is the heart of the home. A little folk wisdom for the fireplace;
Beechwood fires are bright and clear,
If the logs are kept a year.
Chestnut only good they say,
If for long it’s laid away.
Make a fire of Elder tree,
Death within your house shall be;
But Ash new or Ash old,
Is fit for Queen with crown of gold.
Birch and Fir logs burn too fast,
Blaze up bright and do not last;
It is by the Irish said,
Hawthorn bakes the sweetest bread.
Elmwood burns like churchyard mould,
E’en the very flames are cold;
But Ash green or Ash brown,
Is fit for Queen with golden crown.
Poplar gives a bitter smoke,
Fills your eyes and makes you choke.
Apple wood will scent your room,
With an incense like perfume.
Oaken logs if dry and old,
Keep away the Winter’s cold;
But Ash wet or Ash dry,
A King shall warm his slippers by.

It takes an Australian news reporter to say some home truths, sadly lacking in our own country.
Rita Panahi says police/child protection services in the UK abandoned their duty and 'looked the other way' as gangs of predatory men preyed upon “poor, marginalised girls”.
A report into child sex exploitation in England’s Bradford district found that “children suffered horrendous abuse while authorities ignored their cries for help”.
Systematic abuse went unchecked because authorities charged with protecting victims were too frightened to act because the offenders were from immigrant communities, mainly British Pakistani Muslims.
The trafficking of young girls, the thousands of cases of real rape culture in the west did not see much of a reaction from the loudest members of the sisterhood.
The supposed victimhood of Harry & Meghan gets the activists more excited than the plight of genuine victims who were not only horrifically abused but betrayed by the very people that were meant to protect them.

One of the best things that’s happened this year is Patriotic Alternative weeding out the grasses, egos and whiney little bitches and replacing them with decent and dedicated people. I have to say it’s been a shock to see some people totally deface themselves by working with HNH, Antifa, the media or authorities (or tolerating people that do), because their pride is more important to them than any form of morality. You really have shown yourselves up to be absolute scum and your incessant attacks against good people have only ruined your own reputations. I used to get frustrated with Twitter liberals, but that’s nothing compared to how I feel about those who understand the severity of the situation we’re in but choose to put themselves ahead of that. Good riddance to the Fredo Corleones of nationalism.
