The absolute state of David Lammy. Here he is asking why, under the ethnic category of the 2021 census (key word being “ethnic” as in ethnicity), he can’t choose English. Because you are not English! Your ethnicity is African Caribbean. It doesn’t matter where you were born. If I was born in China my ethnicity wouldn’t be Chinese. It would still be English.

I do not believe, on a single occasion have I heard the word “incendiary” used in describing, the NOT so peaceful protests of “Black Lives Matter”
