On this day, 1657, Admiral Blake, England's most famous admiral from the English civil war and hailing from Bridwater, Somerset, completed one of the finest assaults on a fortified position by sea in the history of the Royal Navy.
During the Anglo-Spanish war, Blake was tasked with disrupting Spanish merchant convoys protected by the Spanish fleet. At the Battle of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Blake's ships spotted the merchant ships in a heavily guarded port.
Despite the gunfire from the port and the Spanish ships, Blake's superior tactics and drilling of his crew enabled his men to destroy several Spanish ships. Despite the English crews desire to capture the prized Spanish flagship, Blake was steadfast in his order: All Spanish warships were to be burnt.
The Spanish lost 17 ships, the English lost none.
Admiral Nelson later said that that he "Did not reckon himself equal to Blake". Today, Blake is remembered as the father of the Royal Navy and has a museum dedicated to him in his home town of Bridgwater.

Fish poisoned after dirty water from farm poured into Somerset river.
A farm near Frome, run by Velcourt Ltd, has been fined £34,000 after it was found that run-off water from one of the ditches in the farm had gotten into a tributary river of the River Frome and poisoned the fish.
This is exactly the kind of behaviour you can expect as farming goes further and further away from traditional small, family-owned farms that are part of the local community to gigantic centres that are under the management of companies miles away from where they reside.
If the corporate consolidation of farming continues, we can expect to see a lot more of these stories, sadly. Not only do small, independent farms provide better service and products, they are usually upstanding members of their community who would never dream of poisoning a river and affecting people they would call neighbours and friends.

Theatre Family Sex Show cancelled after 'unprecedented threats and abuse' at Bristol theatre
Thanks to the combined pressure- petitions from the Mail and Mumsnet, combined with the good people who have a moral compass to reject this degeneracy have been able to force the “Family sex show” to cancel its performances in Bristol.
Every now and again, the powers that shouldn’t be like to launch these trial balloons to see if their programming and propaganda has hit the desired saturation point with the public to see if they will accept their normalisation of perverted, immoral behaviour. We saw this with “Cuties” on Netflix a few years ago.
Not that they will stop trying to normalise warping children’s minds with perverted material, but active resistance as well as documenting this to show to the public are important victories. When we collectivise to come together for an important task, we win.

FOOD SUPPLY SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUSTING
I’m so glad this is catching people’s attention. One thing to note: it’s been going on for YEARS.
Here is a map I’d created in 2020 when the suspicious fires at food processing plants started ticking up, and then it became impossible to keep up!
You can click each pin to find a farm, or food distribution center, or warehouse, or grain elevator, or the port of Beirut going up in flames — and each whittles away the resilience of our food supply chain.
The 20 fires in the last 2 months here (which are not even on this map yet), while noteworthy, are just the latest acceleration!

This morning, across Devon, Somerset and Wiltshire, our activists have been out spreading our message on St. George's day. As our patron Saint is smeared by the usual gaggle of halfwit academics and self-hating losers, we're out telling the people of England the truth about the biggest demographic issue of our time.
Between the three of them, they were able to deliver 910 leaflets, meaning we're now at 6302 delivered!
There's still time to make your contribution! Please either email

On this day...
871, the death of Æthelred I of Wessex. After intial losses against the Viking invasions, Æthelred I and Alfred scored an important victory against the Vikings in the battle of Ashdown, earning him the nickname "The Boar of Ashdown". Sadly, this was followed by two defeats. It would not be until 878 when Alfred finally beat the Vikings and forced their leader to baptise.
1942, in response to the British bombing of Lübeck, the Luftwaffe bombs culturally significant areas of the UK. One such area is Exeter, the beautiful historical county town of Devon. The city centre and the Cathedral are hit, along with many hundreds who die in the raid.
Named after the Baedeker book, a tourist guide to the UK, these raids mark a low point in the war when Germans and British would destroy one another's cultural heritage in a madness of war. A reminder that we should never be maniupulated into destroying each other ever again!

Break out the fine china, chill the lemonade, tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree, because we have just hit our DRAMA target of 100,000 leaflets!!
This means, throughout the month of April, Patriotic Alternative activists have delivered “White Minority by 2066” leaflets to 100,000 British households! And you did it with six days to go too.
A massive thank you and congratulations goes out to everybody who Played Their Part. But DRAMA doesn’t end here. Who will be the winning region having delivered the most leaflets by the end of the month? Will PA North West ever be able to catch PA Eastern? Will you join our top 17 activists in the Hall of Fame? And which region will win best Alternative Action?

Decision on plans for 1,700 homes in Frome delayed over concerns about A36 capacity
This time, thanks to a rule that major A roads and the M5 come under the authority of the National highways, the development of homes on new land has been delayed until the issues with increased traffic congestion have been solved.
This will take until early Autumn to solve, but this is a small reprieve for those who live in this area.
The area between Bath and Frome is some of the most beautiful in the country. This is exactly the sort of place that does not need 1,700 new homes. A reminder that 90% of England’s population increase in the last 20 years has been from immigration- the council, government and home building companies are eager to turn every bit of land in the country into new homes to accelerate your replacement.
