Nationalism isn't motivated by the hatred of X,Y or Z group. That is a reductionist understanding of it. It's about a forthright belief in your ancestors, traditions and destiny
Thankfully, the people who espouse the former are typically angsty misanthropic teens. Guide them along the right path. The first best step is to allow an interest in a section of our History to blossom. Then you can move onto more nuanced topics like folklore, poetry and music
