第四与第五钢琴奏鸣曲形态近似：经常游离于规则之外，若即若离的诉说着和声与节奏上的冲突。这两部奏鸣曲标志着斯科里亚宾“玄秘主题”的过渡时期。
从结构上，斯科里亚宾模糊了第一乐章与第二乐章之间的界限（2’45” ），用近乎突兀的方式开始了第二乐章；又在短短一个乐句之后游离回了最开始处。而后两个解离的元素又融合在一起，形成了更复杂的织体。
这部也算得上是我最喜欢的奏鸣曲之一了。不过复杂程度令人发指😅 练不动
这个演奏版本从处理到整体的coherency都非常棒，非常有韧性。
