UPDATE AND CURRENT REPORT

WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!

We are absolutely overwhelmed and so grateful for all the donations we have received. We wanted to give you an update on what we have been able to achieve with the help and support from donations. We have spent the last three days coordinating helicopter rescue missions in the upper Wilsons creek area, and Upper Main Arm Road with the most INCREDIBLE pilot Karl from Oceanview Helicopters. They have rescued, families, children, men and women in need of urgent medical care, babies, pets, dropped up emergency supplies to those in urgent need such a fuel, generators, torches, pulleys systems, rope, vegetables, food, uhf radios and other essential supplies.

The situation is dire, with so many still urgently in need. These incredible pilots are absolutely hero’s working long days in very treacherous conditions. There is very limited access for landing and very limited communications with all towers down. We urgently need to raise more funds so we can continue to help these men, women and children in urgent need


At current we have just used the funds for

-10k + on Helicopter Hire and Fuel
-3k on emergency supplies (receipts supplied in comments)
-1k on food, toiletries medical etc

Apparently, it is now “normal” for the triple-j@bbed to test themselves for the plague every DAY! I’ve never actually conversed with such a person about the “reasoning” behind such extraordinary behaviour, but I have been imagining how such a conversation might go…
Me: “What’s that you’re doing there?”
Them: “Oh, just taking my lateral flow test.”
Me: “Oh right, are you sick? You don’t look sick.”
Them: “No, no, I’m fine. I just test every day - you know, to be on the safe side.”
“But aren’t you triple-j@bbed?”
“Of course. Hoping to go for my fourth soon.”
“So why are you testing yourself for a disease you’re v@ccinated against? Doesn’t that kind of suggest you think the v@ccines don’t work?”
“No, the v@ccine is 100% effective.”

“Well then, you don’t need to wear a mask do you, as the test has just told you you don’t have the virus. You can’t pass on something you don’t have.”

“So what would you do if the test was positive?”
“Self-isolate.”
