In the 80s the Army set up the 9th Infantry division as the High Technology Test Bed and outfitted them with the Fast Attack Vehicle, to bridge the gap between light and heavy units. Rad as fuck & too cool for school they were deactivated in 1991 and the Fast Attack Vehicles were handed off to the Seals and used in Desert Storm as the Desert Patrol Vehicle.
