Many great news this week finally. Happily to announce to everybody over here. Content for this week’s post:
• Camera Comparison of GCam 7 & 8
• Repartition guide for Pixel
• ROMs Update: PixelDust 11
• Result: ROMs you guys are using
• Poll: What the reason lead you to use PixelExperience?
I have taken my free time and do a camera comparison for the difference of GCam 7 & 8. These two cameras are the best GCam that worked well on a Pixel (when comparing version), Camera PX for v7.2 & DMGC for v8.2. If you have checked the comparison, you can see that Camera PX performs well on both day & night time. Meanwhile, DMGC takes better daylight photos actually, or you can say it is on par. I will do more comparisons of this to prove it, stay tuned for that. For people who don’t know yet, check the comparison over here.
I didn’t take too much time to focus on this, anyway I am concluding this up. This is a guide to repartition your device in order to flash Android 11 ROMs which required this step. Take your time to read it, may be a little messy but the steps are still organised. Check the guide over here or from the pinned message of the channel.
So PixelDust release update. Quite a bunch of changes from previous build, including May security patch of course. Bringing in some of the Android 12 stuff, so you get to access it even if Android 12 not available for our device. Some stuff added and several fixes & important are there as usual. Download it from here.
So I created a poll last week, asking what ROMs you guys are using. PixelExperience came on top, like you guys aren’t respecting other ROMs (just kidding). Stock ROMs came in second place, well someone forward this poll in a general Pixel group, which most people don’t know how to flash a custom ROM, resulting in many votes for this option. The next one is LineageOS, the mother lord of ROMs. Next on the list is others, like this means you guys are using an old release of ROMs like RR, Bliss & ion? Impressive though. Last few ROMs are listed from most user to the least in order, PixelDust, ArrowOS, Fluid, exTHmUI & PegasusOS.
As PixelExperience has the most user, here a poll for people who are using it. You don’t need to vote if you are using other ROMs. What the reason which lead you to use it? Vote down below. We will check back after a week and give suggestions to it. This poll will be closed too at that time to show the results to the public.
These are the stuff I want to announce. Have a nice day & stay safe as pandemic getting worse nowadays.

Everything PixelExperience for this week’s post somehow, lol. Content for this week’s post:
• Result: PixelExperience user want stock ROM alike exerience
• Suggestions for PixelExperience user
• ROMs Update: PixelExperience
We created a poll last week (stop poll as not everyone voted for it, and result can be visible for the others), asking PixelExperience users what reason lead them to use that. 52 person gave responses. 32 person said they used for the same experience as stock ROM. The next reason is it run smoothly, 23 person vote for this option. For the rest of the reasons, a few people used it as it is a popular ROM, some tried it first then stay on it forever, and the last reason, the only favourite option to use on a Pixel, 1 person voted for that.
So some suggestions for PixelExperience user following above poll results. Since most of you only wanted the stock ROM like experience, I can guarantee to tell you that every ROMs fit your taste, not gonna lie (you can ask in group). Any ROMs with Gapps can have the alike experience as stock ROM, with even more features. And for running smoothly, technically any recently released ROMs are just running fine, no one is really complaining their Pixel are lag. Of course, they are other reason that keep you on it, like Android 11 monthly updates and other. For the rest, you are really a PixelExperience sticker user, don’t have any advice for you, but to be honest, if you have some time, try some other ROMs. It is better to discover the world rather than keeping yourself in a confined space.
Talking about PixelExperience, as most of you guys have know already if you are using it, May updates have been pushed. Only upstream updates, nothing really being fixed. May security patch reached as usual. You can download it from here.
Anyway, even when you are stucked at home, you still watch the news on TV or the Internet to follow up what happening around the world. Stay safe too for the meantime.

Hey, it’s @yaygya here.
Well, Google I/O 2021 has finished its first day, and the new Android 12 redesign is quite divisive. My thoughts on the new redesign? It gets some things right, but others it doesn’t do so well at. It feels more fluid than 11, which is great. However, things are also pretty big in every app, and that might make small devices feel even smaller.
Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your view), given how things look for the Pixel, we probably aren’t getting Android 12. What we think doesn’t matter, because our devices are so outdated and uncared for.
Feel free to reply to this with your opinions on Android 12.

Not much updates this week, lol. Anyway, let talk stuff related to our Pixel. Content for this week’s post:
• ROMs updated this month & feedback
• Poll: Are you still using your Pixel?
Here a list of ROMs that have updated this month:
• LineageOS (updated weekly, sync with latest source)
• PixelExperience (updated monthly, but upstream mostly)
• PixelDust (updated monthly, but with many improvements and more features)
Only 3 ROMs updated this month, and this poll clearly show it is the top 3 custom ROMs being used by the majority of you (ignore Stock & Others). To be honest, I appreciate @spezi77 works as it is not generic build like LineageOS & PixelExperience do. Changes are pretty major and all are done by himself which is not easy. So why not give PixelDust a try if you have the time?
Wondering out there who is still using their Pixel 1 as their daily driver. This device is already 4 and 7 months old, almost 5 years soon. Camera still good, social media and web browsing are also fine. So like it enough for most users. Anyway, created a poll down there, vote down below whether you are still using your Pixel or not.
I hope next week we can have some stuff to talk about, lol. Till the meantime, stay safe.
