So another FAQ continued from last week:
1. Any way to get OTA update from ROMs and still keep the root after updating?
Sounds cool? Someone ask this in group last week and I guess some people will said it is impossible for that features to come. Well, here a ROM that does this job which not many people will told you, introducing official LineageOS, yup. The ROM that most people think is boring but it serving something that most other ROMs can't do. It up to you to switch if you want that features, otherwise just stay on your current ROM and continue with the rerooting journey after every update.

2. Why I can't enable OEM unlock on my Pixel?
You had probably asked this in the community and got an answer. It likely that you got a Verizon Pixel. By the way, a note, most likely second hand Pixel are going to be Verizon Pixel, hardly you can find an unlocked Pixel though. If you want to unlock Verizon Pixel, sure but cost isn't cheap, you could find service that can unlock your Pixel. This is the only solution to unlock it for now, otherwise let hope for another exploit (unlikely unfortunately :/).

Fun fact: Verizon Pixel exploit last happened in July 15 ~ July 19, 2020. If you want to try unlock in 2021, sure, lol, no guarantee it will work but maybe it a surprise, who know. Up to you anyway. Sounds cool though.

Hey there, not an update post (likely not happening for the next few months) but an announcement for the community.

So I recently planned to open a channel that post about Google latest developments & news. There seem to be such a channel exist @googlepixels but you will see Russian mixing in it. Actually, I don't know if anyone in that community has suggest them to separate the language content or not, but it been going on for quite a while.

Also the group itself (the linked group of that channel I just mention), majority are using Russian to communicate instead of English. Then someone joined in here recently requesting for general international Pixel community. Well yeah, you will find general group out there but all people in that community are using other languages too :/

So yeah, a channel that post Google updates related stuff and a general English community for Pixel devices, all in English. This is like killing two birds with one stone I guess. No one has done this so that why I am planning to do it if you guys want. Vote down in the poll below if you had like it to happen.

By the way, a brief of stuff that the channel is posting:
Android, Apps, Easter Egg, Pixel...

TL;DR:
• Everything in English
• Channel posting Google updates related stuff
• Group for channel post comment purpose and general talk about Pixel

How to get Live Caption feature (by systemizing app)
Pre-requisite:
• Rooted with Magisk
• Running AOSP, Android 10 & later

Steps:
1. Download this APK & rename it to a easier name (eg. dps.apk)
2. Go to Magisk App > Modules Repo and search for "App Systemizer", install the module and reboot (if you have the module installed earlier, skip this step)
3. After reboot, get a terminal app if you haven't already (eg. Termux), open it and type su, then grant root permission to it
4. Next, type systemize and you will see a list of options, then type 3 (Systemize given APK)
5. You will be now proceed to type the directory of where you save your APK (it should be /sdcard/download/dps.apk)
6. Then type 2 (/system/priv-app), and reboot the device
7. Find it in Sound or Accessibility section, then enable the toggle, it should be working now

Notes:
• Tested on Pixel XL running LineageOS 17.1
• Your mileage may vary on other ROMs or device, but most likely it will work
• You could also just use other ways to systemize the app by putting the apk in /system/priv-app directory if you know, else just follow the guide written above
• This is a different tutorial from XDA one back in 2019, you could read and find out the difference
• Tested everything on my own, it a cool experiment so would like to share out to you guys
