One of the core features of a phone is to communicate with others by calling, and that's what we are talking about today.

The Speed Dial section let you add people you frequently called, so it's one step away from calling them. Call history basically stored all your past call records and Contacts display contacts that are on your device. The dialpad is accessible at the bottom right corner.

In the overflow menu, there is one cool section for Call history, it can displays statistics. Tapping into any of it will display detailed information with how many calls you have made and received. Phone by Google doesn't have that anymore. Next, there is helpline, which are added by LineageOS contributors. These numbers can help rescue a person's life.

Nothing too special for the dialing page, you can mute, open keypad, switch to speaker, record calls (depend on regions), add call, hold and end the current call.

Continuing with the Telephone app, there are many settings for this one. For display options, this will affect the Contact section. Next, Sounds and vibration do what you had expected, you can change the ringtone sound, toggle keypad tone and whether to vibrate in certain conditions.

Sometimes we might be busy, and quick responses are a great way to reply to people during this condition. Phone number lookup lets you check information regarding the phone number or search for an organisation hotline number. Most likely you won't have to touch calling accounts, but over there you can modify call and SIP settings.

Blocked number is where you can manage all the numbers you have blocked earlier. Voicemail is a voice message left by the caller since you aren't free to listen to the call, you can set up one there if you'd like to. Accessibility section basically offers tools for those who have difficulties in hearing.

Files - Data all in one place
A collection of data stored on a storage device.

The Files app basically lets you browse through files that are stored on your device. By the way, you can still visit the Android/data folder with this app without root. You can open a new window, create a new folder, change sort by order, select all files and folders, get info and toggle to show hidden files.

All the basic features that you used to know are there, search, move, copy, delete... you name it. You can also change the view between grid and list. Sadly it just couldn't remember the position I was previously at and always reverted back to the top after going back to the last path.

There is one cool gesture that I had only realised until I started to review it, apparently you can hold and drag to move a file to a new location, just like on your computer. I didn't find any other files manager which did it, but you are welcome to tell me if you found one.
