Latest PixelExperience build has been removed due to a SIM related issue.

@lndscpr JOINS PIXEL EXPERIENCE! 🎉

Following Mr. Worldwide's departure from Malta, it was of intention to introduce @lndscpr to the Pixel 2 community.
Maintainer of PixelExperience for Pixel 2 series, I was sure that this addition to the development team would be of great help.

Unfortunately, due to my busy and hectic schedule to follow University studies and the maintaining of 3a and 4/4a devices, development for Pixel 2 devices with Android 13 has been slower and less stable than many expected, especially after today's RIL related issues which resulted in the retraction of the latest build due to a particular issue with RIL, causing certain moments in which service is restricted to Emergency calls only, which will be investigated shortly, @lndscpr's introduction will help make this process quicker, more stable and less frustrating.

This does not mean that my departure is imminent, it's obviously just a situation of two pro developers are better than one :))

Game over?

Before I could even get it, Mr. Worldwide got caught by Turkey Post and is now being sent back to PixelBoot (at least they claim to do it). No "farewell" yet! I'll still stay and help with what I know! I'll still try my best to contribute through logcats I'm sent and theoretical knowledge, even though I don't think it will get me progressing too far provided practice is always better than knowledge.

1. Finish tasks more quickly on Power Saving little core before it is migrated to Power Hungry big cores.
2. On idle, "perf top -U" benchmark shows the irq numbers lower than 1000 irqs/sec on average.
• Underclock GPU by re-adding 180 Mhz for power saving while running non-heavy tasks.
• XZ ramdisk support for some Android 13 roms that recently added this feature. Not tested yet but should work.
• Introducing ThinLTO. Reducing the kernel binary size.

Good News on a Sour End
Following Mr. Worldwide's disappointing ending to Turkey, towards @lndscpr, I would like to re-assure everyone that the device is enroute back to Malta.
Although it is great news that the device has not been lost during this transit, I am underwhelmed that this promise was not delivered due to country laws and legislations in Turkey.

Let this be an apology from me towards all those who were looking forward to this collaboration taking place, and even further to @frobolet and @dvrkplayer who went out of their way to pledge towards this attempt to make this project a reality.

I shall be keeping a close eye on how the situation develops, especially with regards to refunding those who pledged to this promise as it isn't a truthful result that the device returned to me with no consequence.
On this note, I would still like everyone to give a warm welcome to @lndscpr, although with no device still went out of their way to support me and many others in the Pixel 2 community.

That's all I have to say for now and once again thanks and apologies for this occurrence.

Looking ahead

With our recent attempt with @lndscpr towards the expansion of Google Pixel 2 developers who can give me a strong helping hand with Mr. Worldwide, and our unsuccessful attempt to ship towards Turkey, I was in the prospect of reaching out to different developers.

That was until I resorted to a close, experienced and know it all @J0SH1X.
@J0SH1X, experienced across many devices and OEMs such as Huawei/Google with the 6P, with very attentive skillsets to bring-up Android 10 with @delet_thiskthx and I, LG, OnePlus and Samsung devices, with close relation with Qualcomm SOCs.

I saw that @J0SH1X would fit this community easily, providing support to her own projects and even helping out with @PixelExperience as a co-maintainer.
This would also provide a sense of future-proofing for the community knowing that if I am stumbled, I am able to depend on a diverse set of skills from different developers if needed.

Speaking about future-proofing, @lndscpr will not be dismissed, and if the opportunity ever comes that @lndscpr can be supplied with a Pixel 2 handset, I shall take it in a heartbeat to provide a device for which in that possible future, @lndscpr can join both @J0SH1X, I and the other Pixel 2 developers for a fruitful community.

The next step to all this is to receive Mr. Worldwide in Malta, enquire about this move with the donators for @lndscpr's attempt and take the next step from there.
In the meantime, pop in to say hi to @J0SH1X and provide a warm welcome.
