There are much more Android 12 ROMs for the Pixel 2
For latest update of development for the Pixel 2, join @Pixel2Updates which are operated by the same team of this channel. All the info are at the latest state as of writing, new build might get released and more ROMs could be release soon too.

Remember the Pixel 2? One of the best made phone by Google, and many people are still using it as their daily driver. Our Pixel 2 community @Pixel2Updates have already released quite an amount of Android 12 ROM besides than ProtonAOSP 12 which get featured on articles. Here are the list of Android 12 ROM that are available for the device:

ArrowOS v12 (Pixel 2 XL)
This is the first Android 12 ROM that is available for the Pixel 2 XL, and big thanks to @reallysnow which is also the official maintainer for ArrowOS 11 for the device, otherwise other Android 12 ROM won't actually get released. Most of the issues have been solved at the current state, and it also the final test build, so expect a newer updated stable build coming soon.

Pixel Experience 12 (Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL)
Next up, Pixel Experience. If you had like a stock like experience but Android 12, here you go. It is built by the official maintainer of the ROM too on Android 11, @PixelBoot. This is the first Android 12 ROM for the smaller Pixel 2, and it come with Google services by default, also dynamic color theming engine is included too.

ProtonAOSP 12 (Pixel 2 XL)

This is the first Android 12 ROM to get posted on XDA, hence getting media attention and get posted on articles. ProtonAOSP is made by @kdrag0n, and he once maintained both Pixel 2 devices officially on Android 11, but after that he released a post stating that he won't be building it anymore due to vulnerabilities in proprietary code. Anyway @Dollscythe & @RealOkabe work together and released an unofficial build of ProtonAOSP 12, it is available in Vanilla & Gapps build, and also support dynamic color theme engine in both builds. Currently it available for Pixel 2 XL, but smaller Pixel 2 build will be release soon.

There are a lot of details that I haven't really written into the post, like the issues & bugs for example. You can check out our channel post to learn more about the details. Just to tell you guys that there are a lot more option other than just ProtonAOSP 12.
